Karah passes up defending her U.S. Kids World Champion title for a shot at the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship!

Karah has been anxiously looking forward to her chance of becoming a 3x US Kids World Champion ever since her 2nd victory last year at Pinehurst, N.C.
But on June 30, 2014 at South Hills Country Club, with her brother on the bag, she qualified for the US Girls Junior Championship which was established in 1949.

The Buzz

What an amazing accomplishment, that a 12 year old girl would find herself in the ranks of the top 156 amateur female golfers in the world vying to become our next national champion! No doubt about it, that no matter how far she continues from this point forward, she is already a champion!

But should they continue to thru the match play events and actually go on to win, a new world record would be set, being the youngest ever win at age twelve...

13/3/7 Aree Song Wongluekiet (1999)
